2025 Holiday Season Preparations and Guidelines

     Hello and greetings from everyone at Decorations Unlimited. We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy thus far in 2025. As we begin scheduling for the 2025 holiday season it is important to consider the ever changing environment for staffing, suppliers, and customer contact. With so many unknowns in the current business environment, advanced scheduling will be critical in order to accommodate as many customers as possible this holiday season. 


In order to ensure accuracy at set up, please complete the attached order form describing color and placement of lights. Due to a number of personnel changes, it will be critical to have a good description of the lighting you are requesting (Drawings of your home and placement of lights are welcome). All set ups in 2025 will need to have an order form for installation. As in the past there are no standing appointments to ensure fairness to everyone. Also please review the back page of order form for mportant information.


     In an effort to go GREEN we will e-mail invoices. Please include your CURRENT e-mail address on the order form so we can update our system. DO NOT provide your e-mail address if you want an invoice mailed to you. Please note our e-mail address is for billing purposes only. ALL REPAIRS and request for set up must be by phone or order form so that we may schedule as soon as possible. 


     Take downs will begin January 2nd. We will assume that everyone is ready for take down and will schedule without a call. However, if you would like an earlier or later 

removal date you must call the office to make the necessary arrangements. Please remove any and all of your personal decorations prior to our removal. Due to similarities in products our crew may inadvertently remove more than they should if your equipment is present. We look forward to seeing many old friends and meeting many new ones again this year and wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Early-Bird Discount


Once again, we are pleased to offer a 10% early bird discount for a limited number of installations completed between Oct 10th and Oct 31st We are limited to the first 400 returned forms so please order early.


These 400 early bird appointments will be assigned based on the postmark date on the return form or the time stamp if completed on line. In 2024 the early bird spots were filled within 6 days of our mailing of the forms Orders received after the first 400 will NOT be considered for early discount.


If early bird is requested, set up may occur at anytime w/o prior notice based on form submission. This year you may also complete your order form and send to duorderform2025@yahoo.com It will be stamped in the order received. You may also send your order form by US Postai Service but PLEASE DO NOT D0 BOTH! All orders received by email as well as US mail will be stamped in the order received. Discounted invoices must be paid within 30 days of billing or the discount will be removed.

OUTLETS IN EAVES

If you wish to use outlets in your eaves, they must be turned on before our arrival. This allows us to testand make sure the lights are working properly. If they are not turned on, we will not be able to check the lights to ensure they are operating. If you request a return trip to replace bulbs a $75 service trip fee will apply. It is recommended to flip the switch on when you send in your form.

SCHEDULING AND SETUP

As we experience labor shortages along with so many other businesses, we assure you that we will make every attempt to get all of our wonderful customers serviced in a timely manor. Minimum package charge for all set ups will be $200 after discounts due to cost of travel and set up. This is due to the cost of travel time and set up time.

2025 PRICING

Due to the dramatic increases in the cost of labor, fuel, copper and insurance there will be a minimal price increase for 2025. While this increase will represent less than $20 on average per set up we are confident that we remain the best value when compared to numerous other companies in the field.

WEATHER/ILLNESS POLICY

This period of time finds us filling every available appointment and limits our ability to immediately recover from weather and illness related missed appointments. We try to accommodate all setups as soon as possible, however, we CAN NOT guaranteea make-up day on weather or illness related cancellations. Unfortunately, the customer is as dependent on the weather as we are. We must be able to ensure the safety of our employees. 

STORM DAMAGE

We understand that many of you experienced major damage due to tornado, hail and strong storms in our area. If you have scheduled roof or gutter repairs or replacement please wait until all of the roof work is COMPLETED before ordering your holiday lighting. If lighting must be removed due to roof replacement, there will be a fee to reinstall.

  • ROOFLINE LIGHT PRICING

    All roofline lighting will be based on the number of sets used and type of house     (1 story or 2), there is a additional fee for gutter guards and timers

  • TREES AND BUSHES

    $20.00 per strand for lights in trees    

    $14.00 per strand for lights on the bushes

    Pillars – 1 story $35 per pillar 2 story - $150 per pillar

    Timers:                                                $15.00 per timer
